At 6am, the dawn light over the Liverpool skyline was grey, miserable and uninspiring. On top of that, it was raining and the wind was strong enough to discourage even the thought of having a much needed pee. So, with legs crossed and teeth clenched, I leaned into the squall as well as the tripod, and took this picture.
A break in the clouds allowed some weak dawn sun to break through and pushing it in PS made a dull morning, dramatic. You can make out the Liver Birds sitting atop the Liver building left of centre if you look carefully enough.
