John is another photographer with an exceptional eye for the landscape 'moment'. His pictures are some of the most film-like I've seen, though I understand he was born with a digital camera in his hand and it's believed he can't actually pronounce the word 'film'. Like Marc Adamus, he lives in close proximity to stunning landscapes, but, without his dogged perseverance to go hiking and camp out in God-foresaken locations waiting for the damned light to be just 'right' - his shots would never achieve the same impact. Unlike Marc's pictures, John doesn't process his images to anywhere near the same extent, preferring a more gentle, or natural, tonality. Whichever style you prefer, I think you'll agree that both photographers produce stunning images.
